The Basics of Opt-in Email Marketing

Junk mail is hated by most everyone that receives it. Similarly, spam, which is email junk mail, is usually just as hated and frequently bypasses people’s inboxes and is sent straight to the trash. This does not help your email marketing campaign so you will need to do something to ensure your marketing email safely arrives in the inbox.

Remember, spamming people might be fast and easy, however do you really want to equate your product with spam or junk mail? That’s not a great way to create a name for your product or service. Not to mention, spamming is illegal and more and more people are finding themselves in legal trouble because of it. That’s certainly not any fun and not worth your time and energy. Besides the fact that if you send spam emails you are much less likely to sell your product or service because most people will delete the email before they ever read it. That’s why opt in email marketing is the most effective. That’s because the emails are targeted to people who have willingly provided their email addresses to you.

When people provide their email address to you it’s because they are interested in your product, service, or basically what you have to say. These are the people you want to target through email marketing because they are the ones most likely to buy your product. You may be excited about email marketing and tempted to buy software that harvests email addresses or provides you with other huge lists of addresses you cannot use legally. Don’t go this route even if it is tempting. It won’t work out for you in the end not to mention most people have spam blockers and will never even see your email. Put a little bit of time and effort into your email marketing and it will pay big dividends.

Be creative about opt in email marketing and you will find there are a lot of people willing to give you their email address. Especially if you make it worth their while by providing them with something for their time and effort. Most people interested in reading a newsletter or free eBook on a specific topic will sign up with their email address. This is a great way for you to get those email addresses you need without doing anything illegal. Not to mention, when you use this method you are more likely to have a higher percentage of sales from your email marketing because your emails will make it through the spam filters not to mention people will recognize your email and are more likely to open it and trust you.

Keep in mind there is legislation in the United States regarding spamming and that is certainly not something you will want to play around with. If you are serious about Internet marketing then be serious about email marketing and do it the right way.

How To Get Rid Of Spam Mail

Your first level of defense is to use throw away e-mail addresses. The idea is to give everyone a different e-mail address. That way if someone starts spamming you just delete their e-mail address and immediately stop their spam. If you have your own web hosting account this is extremely easy to do. Each e-mail address you give out will be an alias and the e-mail received will forward to your main e-mail account.

Now here’s the 2-cent catch. Each message you send or receive, each file you attach or receive will cost you 2-cents. Is it worth 2-cents to escape spam, viruses, phishers and junk mail? I think so. I use Eyes Only Email as my only method of communication now. I just tell my friends my account name and we communicate just like we did on the public grid, except now we feel safe and secure.

Actually, some reliable web based email services like Yahoo have already provided a pretty good spam protection. But it is not enough. To make it works effectively, there are still several things that must be accomplished manually. If you receive an email from an unlegitimate source, for instance, there is a chance it still goes into your inbox so you need to mark it as spam yourself.

At night we are so tired from our work that we cannot manage to do exercise or even a brisk walk. So the solution to this is that we can always make sure whatever we eat is not much oily or fatty. At night we intake more and the level of energy that is spent is very less, due to this, the level of sugar increases in our body. Try always taking those meals or diets that provide some energy and strength to your body.

The most important person in your life is you. You can not help someone unless you free yourself from physical and emotional strain. Maintain a relaxed attitude and the environment will eventually get the feeling of less stress and more health normal rather than something you’re always looking. Emotions will be a part of you.

Since the color of many things colors are considered to have any particular emotional infuence on the mind and behavior of individuals, it is also live as one of the components of Naturopathy to cure stress caused by physical and mental disorders. Every single color shows its own effect on your emotions, and they are specific in nature.

Accessing malicious free ware software. Despite being free, this type of software Although the software can appear to be free, it can still cost you. The program can be loaded with bundled spyware and viruses. Many of the newer freeware come attached with the Your PC Protector virus.

Does it offer customizable “Return to Shopping” pages without needing custom programming? This is important so you can send your customers to the most likely product they will buy next. Standard carts just send customers back to the main catalog, which forces them to search for related products. This is both irritating and time-consuming. Any delays in finding what they want could mean a lost sale, when they finally throw their hands up in disgust and move on to your competitor’s site.

How to Manage Your Email & Inbox – Lessons 46 – 50

Do you remember what it was like to be at work without having e-mail spurting into your inbox every few minutes? If you are a Generation Y employee, you probably grew up with e-mail. On the other hand, if you are a Baby Boomer and e-mail is something that you have only started using the past decade or so, learning how to manage and interact with e-mail could be a struggle. If you haven’t received any formal training in learning how to better manage e-mail, you are probably doing your best at what comes naturally to you. What comes best isn’t always what is best. If you answered yes I have some great news; I can offer you some ideas and suggestions to take back control of your inbox.

That’s why I have put together my new book called “The E-mail Manual“. It is the book you should have received when you first started using e-mail. I think if everybody had a copy of this book on their desks and read it before they started using e-mail, there would be a fewer problems and issues with using and managing e-mail. Please enjoy these 5 email strategies. Be on the lookout for my other articles on how to better manage your e-mail and reduce the size of your inbox.

46. Use outlooks spam protection tools

Within Outlook, the primary defence against spam is the blocked senders list. Using this tool you can add any email address to the blocked senders list and those Emails will be sent directly to your Spam Folder as soon as they arrive in future.

By the way, do check your Spam folder every few days as occasionally ‘good Email’ gets sent to the Spam or Junk folder. Outlook allows you to create a new rule to make any ‘good Email’ sent to your Junk Folder safe. Next time an email from this person will go to your Inbox, not your Junk Folder.

47. Filter All unwanted emails as spam

email should be treated the same way you treat your regular mail. You don’t welcome junk mail that comes in to your physical mailbox at home. You just throw it all away. So use the same methods to control unwanted email or spam. Send it to the Junk Folder to be discarded on your next shutdown.

48. Don’t give out your email address to just anyone

Lots of web sites have special offers or ways to ‘harvest’ your email address. You should be aware that when you give your email address up too easily it can be sold or used to send you things that you would never ask for, including spam and viruses. So be careful who you let use your email address. See the next tip to solve this.

49. Never give out credit card information or personal data over email

This really should be a no-brainer. Never send your credit card details in an email to ANYONE!

If you are buying a product or service that needs a credit card, use PayPal, or a proper online shopping cart.

50. Using an alternate email address to reduce spam

NEVER use your business email or your primary personal email account when signing up for stuff.

Create a third ‘junk email account’ and use that instead.

You can sign up for a free email address with Hotmail, Yahoo, or Gmail. Because you can read email coming to these accounts online, they never need to go directly to your Outlook program. They go to the server for the service that provides the free address. In that way you can trap the ‘junk’ from spreading to your computer.

For anyone who is using email a lot, having more than one  email accounts is a good move. It is possible to set up your copy of Outlook to collect email from those services to your desktop as well. But that defeats some of the purpose of having the alternative email account.

An email address on your website is an open invitation to spam and junk mail. If you already own or are creating a personnel or business website, you do not want to display your email address on it. Yes, of course you need a way for visitors or potential clients to be able to contact you but by putting your email address on your website, you are opening the door wide open for bots that harvest, use and sell your email address.

Unless you want to receive dozens of junk and spam emails each day and spend time weeding through them to find legitimate and important  emails from your visitors, clients and customers absolutely avoid putting your email address on your  website like the swine flue.  It does not matter if it is a website visited by a only a few friends or a major ecommerce website, email harvesters and bots do not discriminate and will grab your email address.

The solution is very simple and that is the use of a contact form that allows your visitors to directly communicate with you, with out revealing your email address.  Contact forms can also be used to allow your website to ask survey questions, have opinion polls or allow visitors to join your newsletter.

These days creating a contact form and adding it to your webpage is as simple as cut and paste.  Using a special contact form generator through one of the many sites that offer it free, you simply add your text, and choose a layout. It will generate the code and you just copy it where you want it on your website.

But, not all contact forms are alike. We see many email forms and contact forms that have pretty boxes and a submit button, that were created with an HTML editor such as Frontpage, but all that does is make it look pretty and although It does not show your email visibly its still there to be harvested sitting in the HTML code on the website.   In addition, spammers have created robots that automatically fill out these boxes and hit the submit button over and over again, sending you junk and spam over and over again. In an recent experiment we put up a basic HTML email form as bait and  nothing happened for several months, then ‘BAM” some robot crawling the web found it, share it with others and not only were we getting hundreds of junk emails directly to our email address, but the contact form was being filled out  with offers for pornography with hundreds submitted per day. We know of several others who were forced to change their email address because of the same thing. So don’t let that happen to you.

There is a better way. The safest email or contact forms use an intermediary that hosts the contact form or survey form for you, completely hiding your email address  as well as stopping  robots from repeating sending you junk and spam via your own contact form by using advanced counter measure methods.

The best counter measure know today to stop email robots is  called  CAPTCHA,  which is an automatic  challenge – response test that insures the who ever is using the form is a human and not a bot computer.  CAPTCHA is a program that can generate tests that humans can pass but computer programs cant.  For example, humans can read distorted text , but computers cant.  The Contact form will only be processed if the user of the form can pass the simple CAPTCHA test , Humans will pass bot computers will not.  So only use a contact form or email form solution that incorporate the use of a CAPTCHA.

There are several free websites that offer easy to use email forms that incorporate CAPTCHA. The best we have found is EZcontactform.com. You do not need to know html, or have any technical knowledge at all. Their Contact form  wizard will guide you through the process step by step so you can create a contact form which includes all the questions you may need in a matter of minutes.  The site generates all the required  code and you then paste the code onto the appropriate pages of your website.  When someone fills out the Contact form and pass the CAPTCHA , an email copy of your Contact form is immediately sent to you.  Its that simple.   If you are a higher volume website, they charge a nominal fee and offer some more advanced features.

In summary, by using contact forms on your website you can allow your visitors to communicate safely and directly through your website with out the use of emails and protect yourself from Spam and junk mail hell.

Reverse Email Search

Use A Reverse Email Search To Track Down A Stalker

When it comes to emails and email addresses, typically the main concern people have is with spam mail and junk mail. At the most extreme people fear about viruses getting into their computer through email. However, something you need to start paying attention to is stalkers and hackers.

While spam can be a nuisance, stalkers can turn dangerous. There are sexual predators out there waiting to pounce on helpless individuals. Whether it is you, a friend, or even your children, you want to know that you can protect your loved ones from these predators. This is precisely why you want to start looking into a reverse email search.

A reverse email search will allow you to find out who is sending these messages and what their background is like. The last thing you want is for your children to get in the habit of talking to strangers on the internet. While it is important you talk to your children about this, it is even more important you take matters into your own hands and put an end to it immediately.

With the help of a reverse email search, you will be amazed at how easily you can attain information. Not only can you get information rather easily, but you will also be able to get a great deal of information. Some of the information you can receive includes names, phone numbers, addresses, IP addresses and even background information.

In order to get this information, all you have to do is know the email address of the person sending harmful messages. By entering this address into the search box on some reverse email web site, you will be able to get information in a matter of seconds. While it may sound too easy to be true, it really is as simple as that.

There are countless reasons why you may want to look up someone’s email address. You may want to find out who your spouse has been talking to, find out where a long-lost friend has gone or determine who is emailing you from work.

However, on the more serious side you want to protect yourself and your loved ones from predators and stalkers on the internet. Doing a reverse email search will help you get all of the information you need to stay safe. No longer will you have to just put up with people sending you nasty emails and spam messages. Put an end to it right now and find out who is behind all o this.
